A wine lover
Benjamin Sichel, the winegrower of the family who is also an oenologist and the owner of an estate in Margaux, has supervised production for more than 20 years together with Henri Guiot, the vineyard manager of Château Trillol.
Like his father before him, Benjamin Sichel is always sounding out the numerous possibilities offered by the unique terroirs of Cucugnan and La Bergerie for obtaining distinguished and elegant wines with the gentle, herby flavours of the surrounding garrigue.
To me and my family, Château Trillol represents more than a simple wine estate. More than anything, it’s the love at first sight that my father felt for this part of the Corbières more than 35 years ago. Trillol stands for unforgettable family holidays in the shadow of the Cathar castles that overlook the estate from the surrounding hilltops. Lastly, it summons up unique wines impregnated with the terroir and with so much character, the continuation of an ambitious family project...

Henri Guiot has worked on the estate for more than 25 years. With Benjamin Sichel, he contributes to the development and reputation of the estate, tirelessly seeking to get the very best out of the different terrains, aspects and grape varieties.
